As the years go on, my list of “albums of the year” has become worse. But this year I have noted some great music that I’ve kept going back to. There are probably more but I don’t focus on release date anymore (as the final entry will testify)
MxPx came out with their self-titled:
The Story So Far came out with Proper Dose which is actually pretty decent. (h/t my work colleague Gareth who recommended I finally listen to it)
Although Skiba is in blink, Is This Thing Cursed is a standard Alkaline Trio release:
State Champs released another belter in the form of Living Proof:
Skinny Dipping by Stand Atlantic. I thought I was late to the game with this release but it is a 2018 release and it’s a cracker:
Bonus entry – since this was re-released this year, it counts. Makes Me Sick Again by my boys in New Found Glory is incredible:
