Tracking TV Watching – an update

Thanks to my friend & coworker Bryan, he let me know in a comment on my previous post, what I’m looking for is Trakt.tv.

I had read through Jer’s post 2018 in TV Shows and thought it was wonderful – even using the “small” screen and WordPress.com Reader interface rather than a direct blog post.

In short, you install apps or extensions for Trakt to automatically track what you are watching via a range of streaming services and media programs.

Track every TV show & movie you watch, automatically from your favorite media center. We call this scrobbling.

Cute, but I think Last.fm came up with the term. Or rather, the maker of Audioscrobbler who then joined with last.fm, Richard Jones.

But I digress.

I’ll take a look and find out if this helps keep track.

Also, Luther was intense.

  1. Looks interesting, although I’m not sure I want to make it easier for my wife to see when I watch something she also wants to watch (but I’m too impatient to wait for her).
